The dangers of compound interest. Couple borrows £5,750 in 1989. With penalties and interest, they now owe £384,000.

The Bush Administration decides that some non-Iraqis caught in Iraq don't have Geneva Convention rights after all.

I always wondered why they called it "the duck-billed platypus." Like, is there an option B? A non-duck-billed platypus?
