Filmed in glorious black and white, this is a great movie for those of us who feel nostalgic for the good old days when a computer glitch could conceivably start World War III and kill everything on the face of the planet. Great performances by Walter Matthau as an absolutely serious hawkish Macchiavelli, Henry Fonda as the President. Bizarre trivia performances by Larry Hagman and Dom Deluise in minor roles. Despite the presence of Matthau and Deluise, there is no comic relief in this film. Deadly serious and awful throughout. Two ICBM's up.
