There are a few curious words that are pronounced differently when capitalized:

Rainier (ruh-NEER) / rainier (RAIN-ee-ur)
Polish (POLE-ish) / polish (PAWL-ish)
W (SCUM-bag) / w (double-you)

Funny, I just read those bits while tutoring a kid the Declaration.
