Although a few raindrops fell on me as I got the coals started, the weather wasn't really a problem (though it's a good thing we were doing lunch and not dinner -- it poured later on).
On the menu was our variation of Sunset's burger for bubbly. Illustrated are the onions fried in bacon fat. And that's just the start.
They were once again pretty much the best cheeseburger in the world.
Instead of bubbly, we went with a 'champagne-style' beer, the Malheur Bière Brut. Fantastic!
Other accomplishments of the weekend: Yard tidied. Lights up. First holiday cards sent. On target for happy holidays.
