Becca's dad and his wife were in town for MLA, so we met up downtown for lunch at Wurstküche.
I think I like the Schneider Edel Weisse better than the Aventinus -- both made by Schneider & Sohn -- though Charles had the Aventinus eisbock, which was pretty amazing.
Good beer, good sausage, good fries, good conversation. We dropped Kathy back off at the conference and kidnapped Charles for a few more hours of socializing, before whisking him back to the Biltmore.
