Definitely some great stories in here, mainly far off the beaten track. Occasionally too far off the beaten track, and consequently less (or not) enjoyable. But hey, the book won the World Fantasy Award for best collection and one of the stories, "Creation", won the WFA for best story. And I can name 4 or 5 stories in this collection I like better than "Creation," so if I didn't like a couple of the others, it still makes this well worth your time.
