I am disappointed, but not at all shocked nor surprised. Most homophobes believe that a gay person of your gender in your presence is harassment, and the only option is to inflict bodily harm (or blow their brains out from the back of the head at point-blank range).

I recall a defining moment in my life playing Little League baseball. A teammate of mine hit a home run, pushing us into the lead. When he came back to the dugout, the other kids high-fived him, but I hugged him, so he punched me, saying boys never hug other boys.

As a child, I thought "gay" meant happy. I used to be "gay", until it was beaten out of me.

As I posted earlier, conservatives and Republicans are assholes.
